September Theme "Hands & Eyes"

1. While other photographs are images of daily activities and have no motif , this photograph looks as if it has an overall theme and mood. This photograph shows the contrast between light and dark which creates interest to the viewer. Using the lighting and the posture of the hand, this image has a mysterious mood.
2. The composition I used for this image was Selective Focus. I focused on the hand and blurred the background to make the main point of interest on the hand.
3. In this photograph, the hand sticks out the most because it receives most of the lighting and is in focus.
4. This image would first lead the eye to the focused object which is the hand. It would also lead the eye into the places with most lighting, which are the fingers.
5. Because of the sharp and strong features of the subject and the dark lighting of the image, I would title this photograph as "Sharp" or "Darkness".
