Questions

1. I chose this photograph as the best picture because I believe that it defies the theme, "Winter", the best and it also uses different compositions to make the photograph look interesting to view.
2. The different compositions I used in this image were, fill the frame, rule of thirds and lighting. By filling in the frame, the soft texture of snow is visible. I used the rule of thirds which put the focus on the broken hole of the pile of snow. Lighting creates different shades of white within the photograph, which makes the image interesting to look at.
3. This photograph is taken of a pile of snow. However, the broken part of the pile is put into main focus. 
4. The sun brightens and darkens parts of the image. From the broken hole, due to lighting, the eye is led around the shadows that are created. With the same color, white, different shades are created by the lighting. 
5. A title I could give this artwork is "Broken Pile"
